Recipe: Chicken Cacciatore Stew (crock pot)

CHICKEN CACCIATORE STEW

1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, in 1-inch pieces
3 boned and skinned chicken breast halves, in 2x1-inch pieces
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 (14 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (8 ounce) can mushroom pieces and stems, drained
hot cooked spaghetti and crusty bread (for serving)

Combine all ingredients in crock pot. Mix well.

Cover and cook on Low setting for at least 6 hours.

Serve with spaghetti and thick slices of crusty bread.
