I use this recipe all the time and it is very
good. My children love it.
COCONUT BONBON'S
(May shape like eggs instead of balls, which I do both.)
2 boxes powdered sugar
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
2 cups coconut
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. butter or marg.
1 tsp. vanilla.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Shape into balls or "egg shapes" and place on waxed paper. Let stand 12 hours in the refrigerator.
CHOCOLATE DIPPING:
2 boxes Bakers' Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1 Cake Paraffin
Melt chocolate and parafin in double boiler over hot but not boiling water. Dip eggs into
chocolate mixture and place on wax paper. Let dry. If needed, these freeze great! (Sometimes, I double the chocolate dipping portion and double dip the eggs.) I hope this helps you. Good Luck!
