Recipe: Chocolate Crisps and Milky Way Crispy Chews (rice crispie treats using Milky Way
Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, BarsCHOCOLATE CRISPS
6 Milky Way candy bars (2.23 oz. each)
3/4 cup margarine
1 (6 oz.) box Rice Krispies
Melt Milky Ways and margarine together.
Pour over Rice Krispies, mixing until all are coated. Turn into buttered 13x9 inch pan. Press firmly and refrigerate.
Cut into 2 inch squares when cold.
VARIATION:
Frost them with a thin layer of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips, if desired.
MILKY WAY CRISPY CHEWS
3 tbsp. butter or margarine

4 cups crisp rice cereal
1/2 cup peanuts
1/2 cup raisins
Stir butter and 4 Milky Way bars, sliced, into medium saucepan over low heat until smooth. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
Combine cereal, nuts and raisins in large bowl. Pour in Milky Way bar mixture, stirring to coat cereal mixture completely. Press into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
Cut remaining Milky Way bars into chunks and press into top of cereal mixture. Chill until set.
Store at room temperature; cut into squares and serve.
