Recipe(tried): Italian Bow Tie Cookies - variation

Glad to finally find this old family recipe -
The variation that my family used was instead of dusting them with sugar we dipped them in warm honey, drained them on a rack and sprinkled them with red or green sprinkles - the honey is wonderful!
