Recipe(tried): Chocolate Slices
Misc.CHOCOLATE SLICES
6 ozs margarine or butter
2 ozs sugar
2 tablespoons drinking chocolate
2 big tablespoons golden syrup
cooking chocolate for the top
Melt together all the ingredients in a saucepan, except cooking chocolate
leave to cool.
Roll 12 ozs digestive biscuits or any broken biscuits in a plastic bag
and crush, add these to the cool ingredients in pan then put in a flat
sandwich tin or swiss roll tin then put in freezer or fridge to set. Turn
out onto a board and melt the cooking chocolate and pour on top then
cut into squares.
