Recipe: Strawberry Jam from Betty Crocker

Mix 8 cups crushed strawberries (about 4 pints), 5 cups sugar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in Dutch oven. Heat to boiling over high heat, stirring frequently. Boil, stirring frequently, until translucent and jam is thick, about 25 minutes. Quickly skim off foam. Immediately pour jam into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Whipe rims of jars. Seal. Makes about 5 half pints.
