Recipe: Chocolate Walnut Bars (Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips bag)

FOR THE CRUST:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
FOR THE FILLING:
3 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups (one 12-ounce package) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
TO MAKE THE CRUST:
Beat flour, butter and brown sugar in small mixer bowl until crumbly. into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
TO MAKE THE FILLING:
Beat eggs, granulated sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla in medium bowl with wire whisk. Stir in morsels and walnuts. Pour over crust.
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool. Chill for a few minutes before cutting.
Makes 3 dozen bars
