CHOCOLATE WALNUT SENSATIONS

1 cup plus 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temp
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 egg
1 (12-oz) package (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
1 cup Diamond Chopped Walnuts
24 Walnut Halves for garnish
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease, or spray with Pam, a 9 inch square baking pan.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large mixer bowl, beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla extract until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in 1 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels and the chopped walnuts. Spread into the prepared pan.
Bake 23-25 minutes. Upon removing from oven, immediately sprinkle remaining 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels over top. Let stand until morsels become shiny and soft. Spread chocolate evenly over top. Garnish with walnut halves.
When cool, chill 5-10 minutes to set chocolate. Cut into 2x1-inch bars.
