Recipe: Cinnamon Crumb Sheet Cake

CINNAMON CRUMB SHEET CAKE

FOR THE CRUMB TOPPING:
6 3/4 cups flour, divided use
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 cups margarine, melted
FOR THE CAKE:
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup milk
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla

Grease a 10x15-inch baking pan.

TO PREPARE THE CRUMB TOPPING:
Combine 4 cups flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well. Cut in melted margarine with a fork until crumbly. Set aside.

TO PREPARE THE CAKE:
Mix the remaining 2 3/4 cups flour and baking powder together. Cut 1/4 cup margarine. Add milk, sugar, and egg and beat until smooth. Add vanilla. Spread in prepared pan. Sprinkle crumbs on top.

Place in COLD oven and set temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake 30 minutes. Cool in pan on rack.
