Recipe(tried): Holiday Gingerbread Loaf Style (lke Starbucks)

Desserts - Cakes
I just made the Holiday Gingerbread Loaf Style (like Starbucks) using loaf pans (doubled recipe and split it between two pans), but they caved in the middle and burned at the edges (I have a thermometer in my oven so the temp was right). It was just too much batter for one loaf pan, so I'm thinking this recipe was for a 9-inch square pan.

I'm going to try again tomorrow and use less batter in the loaf pan or just use a square pan.

Otherwise, it tastes awesome. Good texture, and I like the flavor of the cloves. I was scared at first, and it is strong. I also added a teaspoon of orange extract to the butter/sugar mixture because I didn't read the recipe right. But that tasted good, too. There is a little orange flavor in it.

GREAT CAKE!
