Recipe(tried): Cliff's MW Carmel corn - easy and fast

Appetizers and Snacks
This carmel corn is very easy and nearly mess free. You make it in the Microwave and, if you don't make it on a rainy day, it never sticks to your teeth. Store in a tight container.

combine in a large (1 1/2 to 2 quart glass bowl:
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup lite corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 quarts popped corn

Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt in a large (1 1/2 to 2 quart) microwave-safe bowl. Microwave this mixture (on high) 2 1/2 minutes. Stir and microwave 2 1/2 minutes more.

Add vanilla and baking soda; stir until well mixed.

Pour over 4 quarts of popped corn in a large microwave-safe bowl; toss to mix. Microwave 45 seconds; toss to mix. Do this a total of 5 times.

Pour out onto wax paper to cool and enjoy!
