Appetizers and Snacks
Awesome Party Meatballs

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1/2 cup bread crumbs
4 slices from a medium-size onion, finely chopped
1/2 plum tomato, finely diced
2 mushrooms, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp frozen chopped spinach, thawed
3 sprinkles crumbled feta
1 1/2 tbsp barbecue sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp basil
1 tsp. parmesan cheese
4 drops of Worcestershire sauce
1 dash each salt and pepper

In a bowl combine all the ingredients and knead together using your hands until the meats distribute evenly and the meat forms a ball.

Roll the meat into small meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and put on cookie sheet.

Bake for about 20 minutes at 350 until they are cooked all the way through.

Allow to cool or serve hot on a platter with barbecue sauce on the side for dipping. I usually serve these cold and they are always a hit at parties.

This recipe makes about 30 mini meatballs.
