Recipe: Hamburger Meal Mix

HAMBURGER MEAL MIX

TO MAKE MIX:
1 1/4 cups macaroni
1 tsp. minced onion
1 tsp beef bouillon
1 tsp chili powder (OR 3/4 tsp Italian seasoning)
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Combine all ingredients. Place in airtight container; store in cool dry place. Use within 6-8 months.

Makes 1 mix.

TO USE:
1 lb. ground beef
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups water
1 hamburger meal mix

Brown 1 lb. ground beef; drain. Stir in 2 cups tomato sauce, 2 cups water and 1 MIX. Bring to boil; cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, until macaroni is tender.
