Recipe(tried): Colitis or Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Misc. Cereal recommended by nutritionist
This is a recipe for a cereal that is high in fiber -- ESPECIALLY - unsoluable fiber.
Unsolulable fiber helps flush your colon. This is good for someone suffering from symptoms of constipation.
1/2 cup of all-bran with extra fiber
3 Tablespoons of Wheat Bran (not wheat germ)
skim milk
optional: fruit of choice(except for bananas) and/or raisins
I have found that 3 tablespoons of wheat bran enable me to live a fairly normal life.
