Recipe: Cream Cheese Pie (using Dream Whip)

CREAM CHEESE PIE

FOR THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST:
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
FOR THE FILLING:
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature
2 Tbsp. milk
1 cup sugar
1 pkg. whipped topping mix (Dream Whip)

1 can pie filling of your choice

TO MAKE THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup soft butter or margarine. Press firmly in bottom and sides of 8 or 9-inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool.

TO MAKE THE FILLING:
Combine cream cheese and milk and beat until smooth. Add sugar and beat well; set aside.

Prepare whipped topping mix according to package directions. Fold in cream cheese mixture; spread evenly over graham cracker crust. Spread evenly over all 1 can of pie filling (fruit). Chill several hours before using.
