Recipe: Creamed Turkey and Rice (Minute Rice, 1966)

CREAMED TURKEY AND RICE

Minute Rice (to make 4 servings)
1 can condensed cream of mushroom, celery, or chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup cooked, diced turkey
2 to 3 tablespoons pimiento
dash of pepper
buttered bread crumbs

Prepare 4 servings Minute Rice as directed on package.

Meanwhile, combine condensed soup with milk. Heat.

Add turkey, pimiento, and pepper. Add rice to turkey mixture. Place in 1-quart casserole, sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.

Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned.

Makes 4 servings
