Recipe: Creamy Nectarine Summer Freeze (serves 2) (blender)

CREAMY NECTARINE SUMMER FREEZE

2 large ripe nectarines, sliced
1/4 cup canned peach nectar or orange juice concentrate
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
1 pint vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

Place nectarines, nectar, vanilla, cinnamon and almond extract in the container of an electric blender. Cover and blend to a smooth puree.

Add ice cream or frozen yogurt; cover and blend until creamy.

Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.

Servings: 2
