Recipe: Czarnina (Polish Duck Blood Soup)

Hi Dave,
I definitely have never tried this recipe! :) This is from a little recipe
book called Poish Cook Book by Creative Composition.

Czarnina
1 whole duck
6 bay leaves
dash of cinnamon
1 onion
salt to taste
1 stalk of celery
1/2 box of whole peppercorns
6 carrots (cut)
1 Tbsp. sweet marjoram

Clean and cut up duck. Place all ingredients with duck in pot. Boil until
meat is tender. Mix 4 heaping tablespoons flour into pint of sour cream. Mix
well. Add ducks blood to mixture and mix together. Add hot soup in small
amounts into the rest of the soup stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and add
2 Tbsp. vinegar and 1 Tbsp. sugar.

P.S. I have another Polish cookbook that is loaned out right now, I'll check
that one too and post the recipe under this one if it's different.
