Recipe(tried): Duncan Hines Chocolate Cake

Desserts - Cakes
Imagine my shock today when I discovered that Duncan Hines was a real person. It all started when I was looking for a recipe for chocolate cake. I happened on your very cool site and discovered recipes from the '40's. I was very surprised to learn just how different recipes are from back then. Then, I discovered that Dan Rather has a Taco recipe.
I'm overwhelmed because now I feel like I'm missing out!

I did make the Duncan Hines cake recipe. It's cooling now and I can't wait to try it. It was a lot of fun making it. I'll let you know what the results taste like. ; p

Anyway, shortly I'll share a recipe for lemon sponge cake from the '40's.

This is a great site. I only wish I'd discovered it sooner.

Thank you.
