Recipe: Frizzled Beef (using dried beef and cream of mushroom soup)

FRIZZLED BEEF

3 to 4tablespoons butter
1/2 pound dried beef
1 tablespoon flour
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 1/2 to 2 cups milk
1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

Melt butter in pan. Tear beef into small pieces and add to butter in pan. Brown.

Sprinkle flour over beef and stir. Add mushrooms. Stir in milk until smooth. Add mushroom soup and stir until thickened.

Serve over plain bread, or toasted bread, or toasted muffins.
