Recipe: Grenadine Syrup (uses pomegrates)

Preserving - Fruit
Grenadine

Measure equal parts of pomegranate juice and sugar, let stand together for three days. Bring to a boil, simmer 5 minutes, strain, pour into sterilized jars and seal. Refrigerate or process in a simmering hot water bath canner for 10 minutes.

One tip: Don't let it stand longer than 3 days....it begins to ferment.
