Recipe: Hamburger Macaroni Soup (2)

Hamburger Macaroni Soup 1

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. dry beef soup stock
1 bag small elbow macaroni

Fry ground beef in skillet, breaking up with fork. Put
cooked beef in crock-pot; add soup stock, tomatoes, tomato
sauce and water. (Rinse tomato sauce can with water, nearly
full.) In boiling water, cook macaroni until it just begins to soften. Drain and add to crock-pot mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook until macaroni is done.

Hamburger Macaroni Soup 2

1 lb. hamburg
1/2 lb. salt pork
1 large onion
1 large can tomato paste or sauce
1/2 lb. macaroni

Fry salt pork until brown. Add onion and hamburg; add
water, tomato paste and macaroni and cook until tender.
Note: Macaroni may be cooked and drained before adding
to the soup.
