Recipe: Tastefully Simple Apple Cake Mix in a Jar

TASTEFULLY SIMPLE APPLE CAKE
(SPICED APPLE CAKE MIX IN A JAR)

3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp powdered vanilla
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Combine and mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Store in a quart jar or other airtight container.

Attach the following to the jar:

Contents of Spice Apple Cake Mix Container
1 1/2 cups oil
3 large eggs - beaten
3 cups chopped apples

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13-inch baking pan.

Place spice cake mix into a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the mix; add oil, eggs, and apples. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Pour into a prepared pan and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes, or untill a toothpick comes out clean.
