Recipe: Hamburger Pie (using pie shell, eggs, Cheddar cheese)

HAMBURGER PIE

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 (9 inch) frozen deep dish pie shell
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 eggs
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Saute ground beef and onion in butter; drain.

Stir in the flour, salt and pepper. Pour into the frozen pie shell and sprinkle with cheese.

Mix eggs and Worcestershire sauce together; pour over top. Place on a cookie sheet.

Bake 35 minutes at 400 degrees F.

This is even better warmed up the next day.

Makes 1 pie
