AUNT BRENDA'S HAWAIIAN TERIYAKI
meat of choice, sliced 1/4-inch thick (I use any type of good meat - usually cross rib roast)
FOR THE MARINADE:
1 1/4 cups soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tsp. ground ginger (or to taste)
2 tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)
2 tsp. sesame oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup wine
Combine ingredients. Marinade meat overnight or at least 4 hours before cooking.
