Recipe: Haystacks Spiders!

Misc.

Hi, Sherri,
I am from MA, too -- what town for you? My home is in Truro,CC. Here is a very similar confection I make every year to include with Xmas cookie gifts-- when I sent these to my daughter in college, her friends named them....
SPIDERS
6 oz. chocolate chips
2 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup dry roasted peanuts

Melt the chocolate in double boiler over simmering water. Add noodles and peanuts and stir until everything is chocolate-covered. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper covered cookie sheet and chill in refrigerator until set, then store in tightly covered container. They really DO look like big clusters of spiders, but are delicious, ....and SO easy.
