Maybe you can make one of these work:Granola Bars
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix:
6 c rolled oats
1/2 c dried chopped fruit(apricots, plums. etc.)
1/2 c wheat germ
1/2 c powdered milk
1/2 c coconut
1/2 c nuts
ADD:
2/3 c honey
1/4 c egg beaters (1 egg)
2/3 c oil
1/3 c milk
1 t vanilla
Press mixture in greased 10 x 15 pan. Bake 15 minutes. Cut immediately in bars,remove from pan when cool.

CHEWY MAPLE-OAT CLUSTERS
1 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1 cup bran flakes
1/2 cup pecan halves, cut in half
1/2 cup sunflower nuts
1/2 cup raisins
8 oz. pkg. diced dried fruit mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or maple flavored syrup
Heat oven to 325* In 13 X 9" baking pan spread rolled oats. Bake, stirring occasionally,
for 20 to 30 mins or until light golden brown. Stir in crisp rice cereal, bran flakes, pecans
and sunflower nuts. Continue baking for 14 to 16 mins or until lightly toasted. Remove;
stir in raisins and dried fruit. In small bowl stir butter and syrup; pour over cereal mixture.
Stir to coat well. Continue baking, stirring occasionally, for 45 to 50 mins or until mixture
clumps together & is golden brown. Spread on waxed paper. Cool completely;
break into pieces. Preheat oven to 350F Bake in 9x13 pan, 38 to 40 min.
Filling:
1 lb. pitted dates 2/3 cup water
1 c packed brown sugar 1 t vanilla
Combine all in a pan, simmer after comes to a boil, for 1 min. Puree, and cool.
Crust:
1-1/2 cups rolled oats 1 cup brown sugar, packed
1-1/2 cups flour 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut small
1/2 t soda
Mix oats, flour, sugar and soda; add butter and rub with fingers till coarse crumb stage.
Firmly press 1/2 in 9x13 pan. Spread with cooled filling, top with remaining 1/2 crumbs.
Bake at 350F for 38 to 40 min, or until golden. Cool in pan. Cut in 24 squares. _______________________________
DATE CRUMB BARS
CRUST
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. vanilla
-FILLING
8 oz. dates, cut up
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix
well. Pack 1/2 of mixture in bottom of 9 x 13" greased pan. Bake 15 minutes. Combine
filling ingredients and cook and stir until thick. Spread filling on bottom of baked crust.
Spread remaining crumbs on top and pat down. Bake 15-20 more minutes until lightly
browned.

1 cup brown sugar
1-3/4 cups sifted flour
1/2 t soda
1 cup rolled oats
1 t. salt
Mix well.
Filling:
3 cups cut up dates
1/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups water
Cook over low heat until thick - about 10 minutes. Cool. Place 1/2 crumb mixture in
greased 9x13x2" pan. Flatten to cover bottom of pan. Spread with cooled filling. Cover
with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 375 25 -- 30 minutes until light brown. Cut in
squares while warm and remove from pan.
