Recipe: Hey Shirl!!!
MenusI REALLY know what you are talking about... We just moved... and.... well.... the cook book thing is really right in the front of it all for me... I've noticed that we share a lot in common... I too have a major cookbook collection!!! and when we moved I can't tell you how many boxes were marked with ... "COOK BOOKS --- KITCHEN " and then when we first moved in... I had no idea where to find that special recipe.... since I didn't organize my books in alpha order!!!... and well... to go through 10 - 15 boxes seemed rediculous... Our new place is so much larger and the dreams of a new kitchen the way I WANT it... full with a complete center for my cookbook collection as well as the computer to print my favorite recipes ... is almost more than I can imagine...
It really is a dream come true... I know it will take time... but isn't that what dreams are made of??? Since we officially moved in... I have tried to be even more responsibe with the money since the NEW kitchen is important... so buying cook books has taken a bit of a back seat for the moment... but I have learned a lot... which I think you have too!!! about first checking the books out in the library to see if I really can't live with out it.....then ... if it really is a great cook book... I allow myself to pick it up!!! Thanks for all of your inspiration these past months that I have discovered the "Kitchen Link"... along with everyone else... I always look forward to visiting with my friends when I have free time during the days or evenings!!!
big smile!!!
