of the library recently and it had a lot of good sounding recipes in it. (I'm trying to LIMIT my buying of cookbooks - we had over 28 book boxes of cookbooks, cooking magazines, etc. the last time we moved ....and this time it was OUR move ... we HAD to pay for it! ... so I've been 'down-sizing'. Kids took a lot an I've sold some .... but I'm STILL buying!)

Both the chicken and the calamari sound great! My husband just had what he considers the BEST calamari when we were in Seattle last month .... instad of breading ... it was very LIGHTLY dusted with flour/seasoning and then fried ...also had pancetta and sun dried tomatoes and some crushed red pepper flakes and I forget what. Very tasty. I sneaked a forkful.

Keep up the great cooking -- being in NYC .... is a wonderful place to get the ingredients one wants. Sometimes it can be very hard to find things 'out in the sticks'!
