Recipe: Homemade Pay Day (snack mix)

HOMEMADE PAY DAY

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup peanut butter
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 cups Rice Chex cereal

Grease a 13x9-inch pan; set aside.

Bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil. Take off heat and add peanuts and peanut butter. Stir until smooth.

Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.

Add Rice Chex cereal and mix well. Spread in prepared pan.

As it cools break it into bite-size pieces or cut in squares. Store in tightly covered container.
