HOMEMADE SEASONED RICE MIX
3 cups uncooked regular rice
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
6 teaspoon instant chicken or beef-flavor bouillon
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
In storage container with tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients; mix well. Seal tightly. Store in cool, dry place for up tot 6 months. Stir well before each use.
TO USE:
Cook as you would for rice, 1 cup of rice mix to 2 cups of water. Simmer until rice is done and water has evaporated.
Makes 3 cups mix (1 cup mix makes 3 cups cooked rice)
