HONEY BARBECUE CHICKEN AND RIBS
3 lb frying chicken, cut up
2 lb spareribs, cut in pieces
FOR THE SAUCE:
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Rinse chicken, pat dry.
Mix ingredients for the sauce in a 12x9-inch baking dish. Add chicken and ribs alternating pieces.
Bake 60 minutes basting every fifteen minutes. Turn meats. Bake 45 minutes longer or until tender.
