Recipe(tried): Houston's Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip for Jill

Dear Jill,

This is the one I serve at all my gatherings and it is KILLER! Disappears real quick!!

HOUSTON'S SPINICH DIP

1/2 purple onion, chopped
3 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
2 cups artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach, cookead and drained
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, cubed, room temperature
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions and garlic in butter.

Add other ingredients and mix well.

Pour into oven proof bowl and bake 350 for 25 minutes.
