Recipe: Ideas for 50's birthday bash!

Holidays, Celebrations
Here are two very different ideas:
If your sister is the type to enjoy a joke, then having each guest bring a "gag" present for her to open would be fun. Presents should be elderly related...medications, lotions, etc. Have your sister sit in a rented wheel chair while opening the gifts. An "Over the Hill" cake or similar idea would be a great addition.

If you are looking for a more classy approach, host a
"50's" theme and have guests dress up from the 50's era. You could have 50's decorations, a cake in the shape of a vinyl record, and you could play 50's music.

Of course, a chocolate party would be great, too. Purchase or rent a chocolate fountain and serve with fruit, cake, etc. Have an assortment of other chocolate desserts to make a "chocolate buffet."

Good luck!
