Recipe: Ballard Biscuits Monkey Bread (using refrigerated biscuit dough)

BALLARD BISCUITS MONKEY BREAD

3 cans (10 oz. each) Ballard biscuits*
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup white sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine, melted
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan or Bundt pan.

Cut each biscuit in half or quarters. Shake in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place dough balls in prepared pan.

Combine margarine, vanilla and remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture. Pour evenly over rolls.

Optional: add chopped nuts, raisins, or chopped apples to pan between layers of dough or before filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Invert immediately on plate.
