Recipe(tried): Joy Philbin's Linguine with Clam Sauce

JOY'S LINGUINE WITH CLAMS
THIS IS VERY GOOD!

8 oz to 12 oz Fresh or dry Linguine
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup extra virgin Olive Oil
3 cans (7 oz each) minced clams, reserve the broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 to 3/4 cup RESERVED CLAM BROTH
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp each basil, oregano, black pepper
Freshly grated Parmessan cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.

Heat oil add garlic DO NOT brown. Add clams, saute few minutes.

Add wine, broth and rest of ingredients, except cheese and pasta. Cover and simmer about 10 milnutes.

Mix into hot cooked linguine, mix in Parmessan and serve with salad and rolls.
