Recipe(tried): Just Enough Bran Muffins (makes 2 muffins)

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
Bran Muffins
QUANTITY 2

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup bran flakes or raisin bran
[or 1 individual cereal box]
1 tbs bran flakes
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbls sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tbls melted shortening or margarine
2 tsp baking powder
cooking spray

TOOLS:
greased muffin pan

PREHEAT 400

PREP
beat egg

DIRECTIONS
blend shortnening with flour
add beaten egg, salt, sugar,
[if using raisin bran, use less sugar.]
add baking powder & milk.
Stir in bran flakes
pour in muffin cups, 2 large cups or 3 small ones,
top with loose bran flakes
Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes
