Recipe(tried): Kielbasa Skillet Stew

Just discovered your request (4/11)for Kielbasa recipes...since I am rather new at this I only found it today. I have a great recipe for yoy.

Kielbasa Skillet Stew -serves 4

5 Bacon strips
1 medium Onion-chopped
1# Kielbasa-sliced thin
2 cans Great Northern Beans (15 1/2 oz. ea. ) UNDRAINED
2 cans Tomato Sauce-8 oz. ea.
1 can ( 4 oz ) Chili Peppers-chopped
2 medium Carrots-sliced thin
1/2 Green Pepper-chopped
1.2 tsp. Italian Dressing
1/2 tsp. Thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper

Fry bacon until crisp.Drain on paper towel and set aside
Cook onion & Kielbasa in the bacon drippings just until onion is tender. Drain and stir in all ingredients EXCEP bacon and bring to a boil.Reduce heat, simmer for about 45 min., stirring occasionally.
Ladle into serving bowls and top with crumbled bacon.
