Recipe: Maraschino Pecan Bread (McCall's recipe, bread machine)

MARASCHINO PECAN BREAD

FOR THE BREAD DOUGH:
1 1/8 cups water
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tbsp nonfat dry milk powder
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground ginger
3 tsp yeast
ADD AT THE BEEP/AFTER FIRST KNEADING:
1/4 cup red and/or green whole maraschino cherries
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pecans, chopped

Place the ingredients for the bread dough in bread machine according to manufacturer's directions. Use basic/white bread cycle.

Drain cherries well on a paper towel. Add the fruit and nuts at the beep at the end of the first kneading cycle.
