Recipe(tried): Kuku Paka (chicken-coconut curry) - ISO: Wali wa nazi (coconut rice)
Main Dishes - Chicken, PoultryADVERTISEMENT
Hi Gladys (if this reaches you...)
I have just seen this website for the first time when looking for recipes of classic East African (Swahili) dishes. Having just spent a year in Zanzibar i am gathering some friends round for a taste of my travels. I am therefore looking for some traditional dishes to serve up like mchecha (spinage in coconut sauce), sweet pumpkin with chillies in a coconut sauce, Wali wa nazi (coconut rice) and pilau rice. The recipe for kuku paka was great, it just has links to a phantom coconut rice post!
Thanks for any assistance in this.
