Recipe(tried): Little Cream Cheese Biscuits

Breads - Assorted
Hi, everyone. I just wanted to share this recipe for the richest, little biscuits ever. I ate these almost everyday as a child, so I was thrilled to get the recipe recently. These bite-size biscuits are very buttery and moist inside, with a delicious flavor. Simple to make. too.

LITTLE CREAM CHEESE BISCUITS

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour (using dip-and-sweep method of measuring)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Position oven rack in upper one-third of the oven. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Blend butter and cream cheese. In separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry mixture to wet mixture. Knead into smooth dough. On lightly floured surface, press out to 1/2" thickness. Cut into rounds with 1-1/2" biscuit-cutter. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until puffed and golden. Serve hot. Makes 24 biscuits.

These biscuits are great at every meal! Enjoy!
