LONGHORN HOUSE DRESSING (copycat)
I did the same and e-mailed Longhorn and got the same reply. I have been messing with it the last few days and here's my amature stab at it (I think it tastes pretty good!)
2/3 cup vegetable oil (I tried olive oil too, but honestly think the vegetable oil is closer)
1/2 of a fresh lemon, squeezed into oil
Whisk in 1 tbsp Dijon mustard to emulsify
Add in a handful of chopped green olives (more or less to taste, I like more)
Generous sprinkle of seasoning salt (guess: 1/2 tsp?)
I omitted the garlic and don't notice a difference, but don't skimp on the Dijon or forget the seasoning salt, it will be really bland.
