GINNY:
Hello again. I suspected I had a copy of the recipe you really were looking for. I lucked out & I located it in my files. This one is slightly more tangy & most likely the recipe you will enjoy more.

LOVE'S ORIGINAL BBQ PIT "BBQ BEANS"

3 cans (1 pound each) pork and beans
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 cup dark molasses
1/2 cup bottled chili sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a bean-pot with lid, mix well.

Cover and bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour for a thin mixture or 1 1/2 to 2 hours for a thick mixture.

Sprinkle with crumbled bacon bits & serve.

Makes 10 servings

Ginny I would not be surprised if the restaurant you had this dish did not copy this recipe.
Anyway I hope you will enjoy both recipes.
