MAMMA GRISANTI'S FETTUCCINI ALFREDO
1/4 pound fettuccini, uncooked
3/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan
1 Pinch salt and pepper
Cook fettuccini according to package directions; drain.
Place heavy cream and cheese in a saucepan. Over medium heat (keep it medium so cheese doesn't scorch), cook until cheese is melted and cream is vigorously boiling.
Add cooked fettuccini, salt and pepper. Heat to desired serving temperature. Serve immediately.
Makes 1 (or 2) servings
