Recipe: Marshmallow creme

Marshmallow creme is a jar product that we use to make fudge or dips with. I know you won't be able to find it in Australia. But, here is a substitute recipe. You will have to convert it to metric.

Melt a 16 ounce bag of marshmallows and add 3 1/2 tablespoons light corn syrup. This replaces a 7 ounce jar of marshmallow creme.

Here's my favorite recipe for using marshmallow creme. Actually its the only reason I buy marshmallow creme.

1 8oz package cream cheese, room temp.
1 7oz jar marshmallow creme
2 Tablespoons lemon juice or pineapple juice.

Beat cream cheese and marshmallow creme together till blended then slowly blend in juice. Chill in refrigerator. Serve with cut up fresh fruit.

If you can't find light corn syrup, I think there is a subsitute recipe here at this site for it. But, I think you could probably skip the corn syrup for this recipe.
