Recipe: Memphis Style BBQ Spaghetti, Wee Willy's Bar-B-Q Spaghetti for Bobbi
Main Dishes - Pasta, SaucesHi Bobbi :-) I found these two recipes for you on the internet. I have not tried either recipe. Both call for a brand name barbeque sauce. If you can't find either, I guess that I would just try using your favorite brand of barbeque sauce.
Memphis Style BBQ Spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 medium onion
1 medium green pepper
2 jalapeno peppers
4 to 5 cloves garlic
1/2 cup sherry or wine (red or white)
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 package Dinosaur BBQ Pulled Pork (or another brand)
1 bottle Dinosaur BBQ Sauce (or another brand)
1 cup water
2 tbsp fresh parsley
1 lb. spaghetti
grated parmesan
salt and pepper
Heat oil and butter and cook onion and pepper til soft. Then add garlic and cook til soft.
Hit pan with Sherry or wine then add crushed tomatoes, BBQ sauce and water. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer.
Fold in Pulled Pork and simmer approx. 10-15 minutes then add fresh parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook spaghetti to box instructions, drain well then put it into a saute pan with 1/2 of the sauce mixture. Cook 1-2 minutes till sauce thoroughly coats spaghetti. Plate then add additional sauce and grated cheese.

1 (26-ounce) can garlic and herbs spaghetti sauce
1/3 cup your favorite BBQ sauce (recommended: Wee Willy's Premium Bar-B-Q Sauce)
Brown and drain ground meat, set aside. Saute the onions in a small amount of oil until soft and opaque. Add the onions, green chiles, spaghetti sauce and bar-b-q sauce to the browned ground meat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta.
