Recipe: Microwave Artichokes with Mustard Sauce

Misc.
Here is a recipe from my book:
ARTICHOKES WITH MUSTARD SAUCE
4 medium artichokes
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup prepared brown mustard
1/4 cup mayonaise or salad dressing
1 TBLS horseradish (Opitional)
1. Slice 1 inch from top of artichokes. trim stem even with base. cut off sharp tips of outer leaves. rince artichokes under cold water. Arrange in upright posistion in square baking dish, 8x8 inches. Pour 1/4 cup water into baking dish. cover with plastic wrap.
2.Microwave at HIGH(100%) until lower leaves can be pulled off with a slight tug and base is fork tender, about 10 to 16 1/2 minutes. If not using microwave with turntable, rotate baking dish and rearrange artichokes 2 to 3 times during cooking. Mix remaining ingredients. Serve with artichokes as a dip.
(2 artichokes cook 5 to 8 1/2 minutes)
