Recipe(tried): Minnesota Munchers--my version!

Misc.
Minnesota Munchers--My Version This was the cookie contest winner at Taste of Home that they are now selling the mix for. They may not be
exactly the same but are awesome. Enjoy!

1 c. butter
1/2 c. granutlated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp maple flavored flavoring powder*
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 pkg (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans (toast in oven for 5 minutes at 350)
4 Skor candy bars (frozen) Chop after freezing.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix softened butter and both sugars in a mixing bowl.
Mix until well blended and add eggs and vanilla or maple flavoring.

Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well blended.

Add Skor bits, chopped pecans, and choc chips. Mix well by hand.

Line cookies sheet with parchment paper.
I used a large cookies dipper to drop the cookies.
(about 2 Tablespoons)
Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Let cool on cookie sheets for 10 minutes.

Makes Makes 3 dozen large cookies.

This is a very crispy cookie!
*I purchased the maple flavored powder from King Arthur flour.
I left the Skor bars in the wrapper and chopped them with a hammer! (Worked)
