MINTED CHICKEN WITH PEAS
2 pounds chicken parts
2 tablespoons shortening
1 (10 3/4 ounces) can Campbell's Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup, undiluted
1 cup sliced onion
1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaves, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
Orange wedges (for garnish)
In skillet, brown chicken in shortening; pour off fat.
Stir in soup, onion, mint, and salt. Cover; cook over low heat 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Add peas. Bring to boil; stir to separate peas. Reduce heat; cover. Cook 15 minutes more or until done. Stir occasionally.
Garnish with orange wedges.
Makes 4 servings
