Recipe: Miracle Whip Spice Cake (no added eggs, oil or butter)

MIRACLE WHIP SPICE CAKE

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup cold water
2 tablespoons molasses
3/4 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing (not mayonnaise)
3/4 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

Combine dry ingredients; set aside.

Combine water and molasses; set aside.

Combine Miracle Whip and sugar. Add dry ingredients and water mixture alternately to sugar mixture. Blend well. Put in prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until tests done with a toothpick.

Makes 1 (8x8-inch) cake
